Diktamos Gorge is located 21 kilometers east of Chania, in the village of Katochori at an altitude of 300 meters. Its length is 8 kilometers and its starting point is in the village of Gorge, next to the village of Stylos.

The canyon is crossed by the tributary of the River Kiliaris, which originates from the White Mountains. Hiking the canyon is not particularly easy, as climbing is needed in many places. The hiking time is about 3 hours. It is a lush canyon with spectacular plane trees and steep slopes filled with endemic herb dictum or erontas (love).

After hiking, the visitor can visit the village of Stylos. There you can rest in the shade of the plane trees and refresh yourself from the current springs, as well as taste traditional dishes at the village taverns.

In the village of Stylos, there is the double church of Agios Ioannis and Agios Nikolaos. Visitors can admire 13th-century frescoes and icons.
