Salt cod and garlic dip with potato

Ingredients:

2 sheets of cod without brine

olive oil for frying

a little flour for cooking

For the kourkouti:

260 g flour for all uses

2 tbsp. short baking powder

3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 teaspoons sugar

330 ml of frozen beer

30 ml ouzo 2

ice cubes

For garlic dip with potato:

6-7 potatoes

4-5 cloves of garlic

1/2 lemon (juice)

3 tbsp wine vinegar

1 ½ cup olive oil and mixed seed oil salt

Preparation method:

After removing the brine from the cod, cut it into the desired pieces and dry it on absorbent paper.

Kourkouti: In a bowl, pour the sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well. Then add the beer and ouzo and stir the spatula again. Finally, pour the ice cubes and put it in the fridge to cool it. Heat the pan and pour the oil. Remove the kourkouti from the refrigerator and mix it again. Flour a piece of cod. dip it in the kourkouti, keep it a little too high to leave most of the mixture and then fry it. Fry in moderate to strong heat, for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown and turn it on the other side. Allow it to leave too much oil on absorbent paper.

Garlic dip with potato:  Clean the potatoes, cut them into small pieces and boil them for 20 minutes to soften. Drain and pour them into the mixer. Add salt, garlic, lemon, and vinegar. With the mixer in operation, slowly add the oil.
