Ingredients for dough:

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 1 glass of olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon or orange
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • some water

Ingredients for filling:

  • 2 glasses of almonds coarsely ground and roasted
  • 1 glass of sesame seeds
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • and cloves

Ingredients for the syrup:

  • 1 glass of honey
  • 1 glass of sugar
  • 1 glass of water
  • cinnamon
  • olive oil for frying

Preparation Method:

In a bowl, put the oil, salt, lemon juice and beat them. Add a little flour and warm water and continue kneading until the dough is softened.

For stuffing, pour all our ingredients into a bowl and mix them very well.

Open a thin sheet and cut strips width 8 cm and length 20 cm. Apply over 2 tablespoons of filling and close the sheet.

After finishing with the whole sheet and the whole filling, fry them.

Serve them with syrup.
