– Visit Chrysopigi Monastery. The monastery is 3 km away from the city. The monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary of Zoodochos Pigi and celebrates Good Friday.

-Bazzar Voukolies. The bazaar boasts a 160-year tradition.  Οpen-air merchants, dazzling appetizers in the picturesque cafes, the unique with the folk-like character of the old-time outdoor market, preserving many of the images of the old age and today in their modern natural form.

-Epitaph. On Good Friday night, watch the epitaph in the church of Trimartiri of Metropolis. The walk takes place in the picturesque alleys of the Old Town and the atmosphere is amazing.

-On Easter Monday, on the day of the feast of St. George, visit the great feast in Asi Gonia. The shepherds at dawn drive their animals to the church of Saint George, they milk them, and when they are finished, the priest reads the wish blessing them and sprinkling them. After boiling the milk they divide it to the believers. Then, the images of the saints are carried around, the Divine Liturgy takes place, and finally, feasts are celebrated with rhythmic songs and dances.

-Also on that day, you can visit the village of Vamos. Visit Agios Georgios in Karydi, and admire the oil mill, which dates back to 1860 and has 12 arches. Visit the old monastery, where there is a specially designed space, with information, photographs, and historical objects.
